I had fun with this easy handmade card for a friend. Isn’t it true that good things are even better when done with others? We now have more flexibility to be with others – while keeping two meters distance, and I love it.
I used the Tasteful Touches stamp set from Stampin’ Up!. I love all the textures and greetings in this set. So many options!
First, I stamped the two flowers on the top right and bottom left of the card using Sahara Sand ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then I stamped it on a sticky note and fussy cut around it, trimming the line on the outside. For the next step, I placed the sticky note over the bottom flower then stamp the third flower, overlapping with the other one.
Now it appears that one flower is behind the other. Cool eh? So simple!
I used my Petal Pink Stampin’ Write marker to add a pop colour to the flower centres.
Greeting and Finishing
I love that greeting: “The Good Things in Life are Better with You.” It is very true and can be sent for so many different occasions. Doing things with others is much more satisfying. We have all experienced this the last few months.
After stamping the greeting with Memento Black ink, I embossed the panel with the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. It is subtle but adds dimension to the card. I finished the card by popping the panel up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adding a few pearls.
Now this easy handmade card for a friend it ready to send and let them know you miss them.
