Today I am showing you a beautiful card made with the Stampin Up Daisy Lane stamp set. This set is available as a bundle with the Medium Daisy punch (save 10%) but it also coordinates with the Daisy punch.
Each of the punches fits one of the flowers in the set. In addition, you can use these punches without stamping. You can make beautiful 3D flowers just by punching coloured cardstock. But let’s get on with the project.
The project
My friend Kay Smith made this card and shared it with me. I love it, so I thought I would share it with you. It features two of the new in-colors, that is Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock.
She used the beautiful Terracotta Tile as her card base and to stamp all the flowers as well as the greeting. She stamped and punched the focal flower twice. Then she added Wink of Stella to the petals! It doesn’t show well on the photo but adds that extra bit of shine which is beautiful.
She stamped the foliage and center of the flower with Pretty Peacock ink. The little piece of Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen ribbon adds a finishing touch to the card.
I just love the Stampin’ Up! coordination making the card base and flowers match perfectly. In the same way, the foliage and ribbon match perfectly.
