Simple Card on Simplicity Day

Today is Simplicity Day and I want to share with you a simple card.

I love simplicity and try to implement it in my life because it often brings joy. For example, there is joy in reading a book in a “fort” with some little ones. There is joy is going for a walk to the park and counting things we see – just for the fun of it.

When it comes to cardmaking, we can make things really complicated but I love simplify projects. It is quite common for me to see a card with multiple layers, embellishments and more and more… and then to eliminate a lot of the clutter to get a simple but stunning card.

So here is a simple card on this #SimplicityDay.

I am loving the To a Wild Rose stamp set! Several of the stamps in the set are Distinktive™, that is they have depth and look photo realistic. I love them but they need a bit of special care to get great results. Therefore, make sure to watch the video on how to ink this beautiful Distinktive™ stamp to get great results.

This card is so simple, I don’t even need to give you a tutorial. You can just look and do it yourself, choosing your favourite colours for it. I chose roccoco rose, pear pizzaz and black.

The supplies are listed below and you can order them by clicking on the links. They will arrive at your door anywhere in Canada. Enjoy making a simple card on simplicity day or any day!
