Puff Paint on cards make it look like there is real snow on the trees! And it’s fun to watch it puff up!!
That tree from In the Woods dies is just wanting to have snow on its branches! The die actually cuts several branches as well as the outline of the tree.
Then I like to use my fingers to slightly curl the boughs and make it look like a real tree – sort of…
Being in Canada, it is natural to be thinking snow on branches. There are so many winter days that are just gorgeous with snow on all the tree branches. I love those crisp, beautiful winter days. We are not there yet, but I know they are coming.
So once I have all the boughs clearly defined, I can put the Snowfall Accent Puff Paint on them. Leave it all flat on the table! That puff paint is quite liquid initially and you don’t want it to run all over the place.
I made a little video so you can easily see how it’s all done. You can watch it here.
In the video, I used a completely different greeting, which you can easily do with this card. It doesn’t have to be a Christmas card. Sometimes, you just need to let someone know you are there for them.
Last year, I made another Christmas card with this set that is completely different. See it here. I didn’t have puff paint on cards then.
