Homemade valentines cards are the best! That is because every time you make something and give it away, you send a little bit of yourself with it. Valentine’s Day is certainly one of the best days to do that.
In addition, the greeting, Happy Valentine’s Day, is really quite versatile. Therefore, you could give this card to someone very special or to a friend.
This homemade valentines card is quite easy to make. My team member Joyce made it and shared it with me. So I thought I would share it with you.
How You Can Make a Homemade Valentines Card:
Firstly, the card base is Crumb Cake cardstock and the front panel is Flirty Flamingo. Then you can stamp the greeting with Lovely Lipstick ink. It is part of the Meant to Be stamp set which can be purchased as a bundle with the Framelits Dies. So you save 10% that way.
Secondly, the two hearts are die cut with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. It’s a little hard to tell on the photo, but I love the stitching around the scalloped heart.
All My Love Designer Series Paper is so pretty! It has hearts and flowers and more neutral designs. So it can be used for many different types of cards or projects. For example, I show you various ways you can use old scrapbook paper in this blog post. Check it out for ideas to use up this paper after you have made cards with it. For instance, you could decorate envelopes.
The ribbon is part of the All My Love Ribbon Combo pack. It is so soft, almost translucent, very pretty!
Lastly, sprinkle a few rhinestones for sparkle and now you have a great homemade valentines card! Who will you give it to? Certainly, let us know in the comments!
