This handmade card with fall leaves can give you fall coloured hands too! It is quite fun to make with pigment sprinkles and water.
I love the fall colours because they are so rich. Now that I live in Ontario, I can enjoy those colours for a lot longer than in northern British Columbia and I love it!
There are actually so many leaves from so many beautiful trees on our street that the city comes once a year with big machinery to collect them. It is similar to the snow removal but for leaves. Not something I had experienced before moving here.
Let’s get to the card because fall leaves on a card are fun to make!
Supplies
What you will need for the leaves:
Pigment Sprinkles (149663)
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)
Stampin’ Spritzers (126185) filled with water
Silicone Craft Sheet (127853) or a way to protect your surface
How to
Take your piece of watercolor paper and spritz both sides with water. Doing both sides will avoid curling.
Then very carefully sprinkle colour pigment onto the water. You will see it burst – poof a splat of colour! I love the effect. I used mango melody, granny apple green and a tiny bit of melon mambo.
Use the colours sparingly or you will get a big blob of brown, murky colours. How do I know? don’t ask…. ahaha
Then I stamped the big leaf from the Gather Together (150589) stamp set in cajun craze where I liked the colours the best and die cut them.
