You can easily stamp this floral thank you card today with just a few supplies. The Fancy Flora Suite from Stampin’ Up! make it a cinch.
Have you ever used a sketch to make a card? If not, you are missing out on inspiration options. For this card I used sketch #FMS570 from Freshly Made Sketches. They publish a new one every Wednesday.
I used a strip of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper at the top. That paper has so many colours that you can easily pair it with your favourite cardstock. The greens in the paper correspond to Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. So I used those colours for the leaves of the flower and for my sentiment.
The flower is stamped with two different stamps that match exactly. The Two Tone Flora bundle has five different flower options. You can use as many as you want for your bouquet. I chose to only use one on this card as I am designing for an upcoming class and wanted to keep it simple enough for beginner crafters.
The Two Tone Flora stamp set is photopolymer so you can see through to match them. So I stamped the more solid image of the largest flower with Daffodil Delight ink. Then I inked the accent stamp with Mango Melody and carefully lined it up. Voilà! Then I used the matching die to cut it exactly.
You could fussy cut around the flower but why not use the matching dies when available!
