Corrugated Cardstock

I love texture and when you can have corrugated cardstock, it becomes awesome. So how do you get that?

Corrugated Cardstock

You get this beautiful corrugated cardstock – any colour by the way – by running it through the Big Shot with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (148026, p. 13 of the Holiday Catalogue). However, there are a few tricks to make the Dynamic Folders work well.

You will want to slightly mist your cardstock so use a very light spritz or it will be too wet. The purpose of the water is to loosen up the fibers and allow the cardstock to bend in the deep groves of the folder without tearing. This also gives you a much better impression.

Check out this video for more tips. It uses another folder the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder – which I love also!

PS: We will be making this card at our next Sweet and Simple Card Class on Tuesday.

  1. Sylvie, finally signed up to your newsletter. Have missed you. I remember as well when I saw you the first time at the PGX and you had a booth. I purchased the 2008 catalogue from and I was hooked. Looking forward to your newsletters and tutorials. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving 😊
