Colouring with Watercolor Pencils

Colouring with watercolor pencils can be fun and relaxing. It used to be a stressful, not relaxing. However, I bought a kit a few month ago (Lots of Happy) and did the cards exactly as shown. That made it so easy! In the process I learned quite  few tricks about colouring with watercolor pencils and shading with them too.

You can just colour a uniform shade and in some cases it looks just great that way. Other times you may want to fuss a bit more and add the shading for extra dimension.

Have a look at the video I have made using the Blended Seasons stamp set and the Watercolor Pencils assortment 2.


You can see the difference a bit of shading makes. Now that I know what I am doing, I find it quite relaxing to colour.
