This beautiful handmade card for friend is easy to make! Just imagine how your friend will feel when she receives this card in the mail. Doesn’t that inspire you take the cardstock, the ink and the glue out to make it? Maybe you want to double up and make two of them. Then you are prepared when you want to send one but don’t have time to craft that day. Just look through your stash, write a note inside and mail.

Instructions

Firstly, you want to make sure your ink pad has just the right amount of ink available. To a Wild Rose Stamp set is Distinktive, that is to say the stamps have a lot of details making them look 3D. Watch the video I made explaining how to do that.

Now you are ready to stamp the flower with Bermuda Bay ink. Stamp the darkest image first. Then you stamp the one with only accents as well as adding a couple leaves with the Granny Apple Green ink.

After that, you want to stamp the greeting with Bermuda Bay ink on a small piece of whisper white cardstock. Choose the stitched nested label that fits the best and run through your die cutting and embossing machine. In addition, use the next label up to cut a piece of smoky slate cardstock. Glue these two pieces together with SNAIL. Then attach them to the flower piece with dimensionals.

If you do not have the Stitched Nested Labels dies, then cut rectangles for the greeting.

Finally, assemble the card by glue your focal image to the smoky slate cardstock, then to your bermuda bay card base.

You may wan to add a piece of whisper white cardstock inside so the message stands out better. Decorate it with a small Granny Apple Green leaf.
