I love the Painted Poppies stamp set by Stampin’ Up! because it gives me “any occasion” card ideas. The stamp set itself has no greeting, so you can choose whatever you want.
I used the shimmery white cardstock as I wanted to do a watercolour wash for the grass. The shimmery white cardstock has a coating which can work quite well when you want to use a bit more water in your design.
Sometimes, I feel like colouring but other times I don’t. This Painted Poppies stamp set allows you to do either. See the two sprinkle images? Use them for a quick splash of colour as you can see on the card.
Of course, you could also colour each poppy individually with either a Stampin’ Write Marker or a Stampin’ Blend.
The coordinating Painted Label dies (available as a bundle for a 10% saving) has this beautiful scallop edge. So delicate and pretty!
I heat embossed a greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I love the font in that set and it has a variety of greetings that you can use for any occasion card ideas.
Did you notice the sequins? Some of Peaceful Poppies Sequins are in the shape of a flower, others are round. With five colours available, you can use them in many different ways.
I will share with you more samples using the Painted Poppies stamp set and give you “any occasion” card ideas in the process. If you’d like, check out this other “any occasion” card.
