Planning your Christmas cards now is essential to a fun, stress free crafting time. Here are the steps you can follow for success:
1 – Choose your design. There are a lot of options out there and it might be difficult to choose the one you like best. Browse the Holiday Catalogue and the Annual Catalogue (starting on p. 92) for ideas and to get a feel for each stamp set. If you are on my mailing list, you are getting the 12 Weeks of Christmas, that is instructions for 12 holiday projects, including cards, gifts, tags and more.
2 – Determine what supplies you will need and order them. I am happy to help you with that so feel free to connect with me. It will take about ten days for them to arrive to you door anywhere in Canada.
3 – Schedule time to actually make the cards. Enlist help if needed – kids, grand kids, spouse, friend. It is more fun to craft together so encourage others to join you.
4 – Create the list of people you want to send cards to. Make sure you have their address.
5 – Write the cards and mail them by the first week in December. They will arrive in good time and the receiver can display them as part of their home decor.
When you are planning your Christmas cards in advance, you can enjoy the process and have fun. If you leave it to the last minute, it will be stressful. So go ahead, start browsing and choose your design. Here is one to start you off.
