Autumn Colours

I love Autumn colours! They are so rich and deep and beautiful. So naturally, I like making cards in those colours. Here is a sample we made at a technique class recently.

card with autumn colours

Don’t you love the multiple autumn colours on the tree? How do you do that? Actually it’s relatively simple:

Collect the colours you want to use. In this case, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. Take a sponge dauber with the lightest colour, in this case, Crushed Curry. Pick up the colour from the Stampin’ Pad and daub on your stamp where you want it.

Then take the next darkest colour and do the same, leaving empty spaces for the third colour. I chose Cherry Cobbler.

Finish with the last colour, Old Olive. Be mindful that some Cherry Cobbler may get on your dauber, so use a corner of your Stampin’ Pad.
